And now for something completely different, yet absolutely necessary!

For we chileheads, there is nothing more satisfying during a hot meal than a glass of wine that holds up to the heat or a really nice cold brew. So, one of my chilehead pals, Jim Graham, has come up with the perfect solution to the fire in the hole that is the life of [...]

Passow Eats The Trinidad Scorpion

Many years ago I became the first person to be documented eating (they have been eating for thousands of years in India but no one bothered taking pictures of that…believe me, much research was done) the soon to be crowned World’s Hottest Pepper (which can be re-enjoyed right here), the Bhut Jolokia (aka Naga Morich, [...]

A little back story is necessary here. Defcon Sauces’ (makers of the best wing sauces on this planet) little helpers are the ever so mischievous Homunculi. They are the little life forms that bring the heat to his products and help to convert the masses into Defcon acolytes. According to Defcon himself, “Actually, The Homunculus [...]

Passow Is The Ruler Of Alvins T-Square

As an artist, I use all shorts of fancy gizmos in my arsenal. Different sized tips for my inkwell pens, specific pens for inking, a click pencil with ridged metal grip to prevent slipping, all the way down to my desk designed specifically for artists (it tilts to any angle I feel the need for). Passow and Company Invade The North Market February 21

Convention time has hit again and this time around I’ll be attending the 6th Annual Fiery Foods Festival at Cincinnati’s own North Market. This is going to be a little different than my previous visit (besides arriving a little later than normal, around 11AM).
Instead of just covering the even, I will be covering my chile-head [...]
