How long have you been in business? The company that is Crazy Uncle Jester’s has been a commercial entity for the past 5 years, but Jeff Stevenson (the CUJ grand poobah) has been making products on some level for over 21 years.
How has your business/clientele changed since you started? Crazy Uncle Jester’s has become Uncle Jester’s Fine Foods, which functions as both a co-packer and manufacturer of a variety of foods. Of late, Jeff admits they have been focusing on growing their commercial canning business and doing private labeling. They are also getting ready their fourth restaurant as well. Product development helps Crazy Uncle Jester helps them by providing valuable feedback which they use to improve existing products as well as creating new ones.
What is new, if any, for this weekend’s show?El Fuego Del Diablo, a ghost pepper jelly and Terminal Psychosis, a fermented ghost pepper
hot sauce.
If you would recommend one product of yours to try, which would it be? The Select Reserve hot sauce. Delightful flavor profile that features the “holy trinity” of peppers: habanero, serrano, and jalapeno
