After the events of Saturday came to a close, there was just one more contest for the first day of the 2010 Weekend of Fire… The Defcon Deathmatch.

Now, we all know of what goes on with this event, so instead of doing a blow by blow, I’ll just let the pictures do the talking. The rules are the same. First one to finish the wings will be the winner if they can complete the 5 minutes of having your hands down on the table.

Steve Smallwood, the winner, was the first one to get all the wings in his mouth in a whopping 53 seconds. It turns out that he was actually disappointed that he didn’t do it quicker because his record at home was somewhere around 45 seconds. Folks, that’s what you get for practicing eating wings for 4 weeks, which is what Steve did. Hats off to all the contestants!
