“Hi! My name is Michael and I am a hot-sauce-lovin’ salsaholic.”

Although I can’t remember the exact day my obsession began with the smoky or garlicky, fruity or tangy, chunky or watery tomato concoction, my mother recalls my love for Spanish/Mexican food in general began when I discovered the tortilla, convinced that anything could be great if wrapped in one. My love for that really flat bread would later translate into an obsession for anything spicy and tomatoey that could be placed on a chip.
