Passow Enjoys CaJohn’s Jolokia Puree

This may in fact be my shortest review ever. I mean, really, there’s not much to say about CaJohn’s Jolokia Puree [1] other than how good it is. It’s just vinegar and Jolokia, not complex, simple, straight forward, and tasty.
CaJohn’s Jolokia Puree Ingredients: Bhut Jolokia chiles, vinegar.
Contained in the small 2 oz jar is a beautifully fresh and smooth puree. The bright/fruity/sharp taste of the Jolokias hit first then a slight hint of vinegar. The burn is that of eating a fresh pod, numbing the areas it touches.
When cooked with, the taste mellows out to a nice sweetness and the heat is just enough to get my nose running and a light air suck occurs. Highly recommended and really, you can’t go wrong with a puree.
Taste: 10, Heat: 8.7
