Hot Zone Online to take over Hot Sauce Blog

In a move sure to rock the hot sauce & spicy food blogging world, the Hot Zone Online announces that we have succeeded in acquiring the Hot Sauce Blog in a move that can only be described as a hostile takeover. As most people know, the HSB has been a thorn in the side of the industry for years and public outcry for its extermination has been growing. Rather than eviscerate all traces of it on the web, we have decided to assimilate it into our own blog and absorb its consciousness into our own.
Nick Lindauer, former admin for the Hot Sauce Blog, is quoted as saying, “I for one, would like to welcome our Hot Zone Online overlords.”
Other internet reaction has been supportive as well. Blane, of Head Winder Licker, was too busy hopping up and down to give an exact quote…but witnesses claim he was shouting, “Freedom!” in a Scottish brogue.
Doug, a.k.a. “DK”, of Taste the Fear was quoted as saying, “Woot! Now we can finally burn the place down!”
The URL where the HSB was located will be replaced with a repeating sound clip of a large explosion just so that visitors know what we’ve done, and they will be redirected to our site, where implanted software will make the Hot Zone Online their browser’s homepage permanently.
(Today is April 1. You do the math.)

Not funny. Please remove my “quote” from the post. I never said that, not even in jest. Thanks.
What I said was, “The hot sauce who?”
Hey truth, that comment you made in the new NFZ post on TTF blasting Joe and Linda sure as heck wasn’t nice. You should be ashamed.

The whole damn post was supposed to be in jest, as it is April 1 today. None of the “quotes” are based at all, or in part, on any comments made in the past by real people. That means you, DK. It’s just made-up shit I came up with to try and enjoy my April 1. If people fail to take it as a joke, let me again refer you to today’s date on the calendar.

I saw this headline in my RSS reader, and I actually got excited for a few seconds. I was thinking, “finally, someone can get HSB back on track!” I knew this was April Fool’s Day and have been taking everything today with a grain of salt, but this one come out of leftfield and fooled me for a very short while. Good one!

Some of you peeps are just to easy.

I like peeps. When you put them in the microwave they blow up huge! The largest I got one was the size of a basketball.

I prefer the Cadbury Eggs to the peeps myself. But I advise you not to nuke them;)

I bit into a Cadbury egg once and it had a little peep inside.
Easter Bunny must have sat on that one a little too long. It was suprisingly kinda crunchy.

Hi All-
I have been working the past few months to get my hot sauce production off the ground. I have spent a lot of time researching the steps needed. I wrote them up and would like to share with anyone just starting out.
You can go to tomshotsauce.com and click on how to. There is information on purchasing bottles, labels, production, nutrition facts, etc.
Hope this helps.
Tom

Hey Tom,
Is there a reason you chose to post on the April Fool’s Day thread? Either way, welcome to the HZO and I wish you the best for your company!
