This is an awesome opportunity for a Fiery Foods Family out there to get their chilhead stylin’ on network TV! This information was in the most recent edition of the newsletter from Dave DeWitt of Fiery-Foods.com:

“Wife Swap” Seeking a “Fiery Foods Family”

I had email from Jessica Jorgensen, Associate Producer, Casting of this popular reality show that runs on the ABC network. They want to find a family devoted to fiery foods to swap wives with a “bland” family, or one not into spicy stuff. Jessica explains:

“In case you are unfamiliar with the show, the premise of Wife Swap is to take two different families and have the Moms switch places to experience how another family lives. Half of the week, Mom lives the life of the family she is staying with. Then she introduces a “rule change” where she implements rules and activities that her family has. It’s a positive experience for people to not only learn but teach about other families and other ways of life.

There is another show that copies ours. We focus on having fun, learning and teaching. They focus on conflict. I just want to make sure our show doesn’t get confused with theirs!

Requirements: Each family must consist of two parents, have at least one child between 6 and 17, and should reside in the continental U.S. (There may be other children living in the home who are older or younger than the required age…as long as one child is in the required age range.)

This is a very unique experience that can be life changing for everyone. In addition, each family that tapes an episode of Wife Swap receives a $20,000 honorarium for their time.”

This is such a unique opportunity that I thought a special email was necessary to get the word out to as many people as possible. My thoughts: the fiery foods Mom should have some previous acting or on-camera experience, even on the level of high school plays. She should have a great personality and not be shy or retiring.

If you can recommend a fiery foods family, please send your recommendation via email to Jessica and bypass me completely. I’m just the messenger, not the facilitator. That said, be sure to let Jessica know that I referred you. Send your email to Jessica, here.

Hottest Regards,

Dave DeWitt

We’ve already sent our email in for this, so maybe that you’ll see us on TV sometime soon!
