Well, we just returned from our weekend of hot & spicy enjoyment at the 2008 Jungle Jim’s Weekend of Fire and boy are we tired! Suffice to say, we have enough products to try and review for the better part of the next calendar year. We managed to load up on quite a bit of stuff, both collectible and consumable, so what follows is a quick pictorial/roll call of all the stuff we’ll be featuring and/or storing on our shelf o’ collectibles.

(Warning: long post with lots of pictures!)

What show would be complete without collectibles? This trio will take a place of honor amongst the bunch, including the creme de la creme which is the #6/7 Blog Death Sauce from Blane of Taste the Fear and Head Winder Licker fame (or infamy depending on your point of view). There is also a Mike Martin autographed bottle of the re-designed Scorch sauce (from CaJohn) and a limited edition Widow Maker bottle from Cap’n Bones himself. Both Mike and Tracy are top-notch human beings, we were pleased as hell to meet ‘em and spend a little time hanging out with them as well.

One half of the Martin label series of which we have the #15 set/200. This is pics of the Fireman, Legs & Lips, and Motorhead bottles.

Here is the other half of the Martin series featuring the Engine House 13, VooDoo, and Buddah bottles.

A sucker for signed stuff that’s actually both cool and valuable, we’re happy to have this one in the collection.

The first set of swag we have offers quite an assortment, including a plethora of hot sauces, some BBQ sauce, salsa, and even some awesome mojito mix.

The second set here shows most of the “big bottle” stuff, including even more BBQ sauces, a couple of jerk sauces, spicy ketchup, and even a couple of huge flasks of hot sauce from Hoboken Eddie’s.

Lastly, a trip to Jungle Jim’s wouldn’t be complete without an obligatory shopping trip through the store. We picked up some Butt Shack sauce (also at the show, btw), some good chile sauces from El Pinto, some agave nectar (for margaritas), some snack-y stuff (including spicy peanuts, popcorn, and chips), and a few other non-review hot sauces for Joe to take to work with him to astound his co-workers.
