Rather than try to narrate through a ton of pictures, here is the 2008 North Market Wings of Fire competition slideshow:
CaJohn will have remind me what the list of wing sauces the amateurs did, but the chilehead division went through wings at these levels of heat, all CaJohns hot sauces:
Cojones
Ace
Fatalii Fire
Talon
Scorch
Sauce 10
Hudd was the triumphant chilehead, along with another whose name we didn’t get. Gary, DK, and myself all went out around the beginning of the Scorch round. Gary wiped some Fatalii Fire in his eye and couldn’t see, DK was just plain full (the wings were big), and I was really full and ready to spontaneously combust. Great fun! Can’t wait to do it again next year.
