One of our very first contributors to this blog has made a triumphant return to the blogosphere…if only with his homemade hot sauces. Chuk Hell…musician, baker, rock star-in-training, raconteur, and hot sauce maker extraordinaire has sent us a tetralogy of unique homemade sauces to delight our palates and torture our taste buds. To this day, Chuk’s “Ogoun” sauce was the best-tasting and hottest homemade sauce I’d ever tried. It will be interesting to see how these new ones stack up to that one-of-a-kind creation.

This one’s title speaks for itself, but will this Naga sauce obliterate taste buds with reckless abandon leaving a scarred palate in its wake? Chuk himself says its hot, and I believe him. More to come with this a little later.

I had to chuckle at this one myself. I know it’s “New Year’s Evil,” but is it pure concentrated evil? If so, would that make Chuk essentially this guy:

(Major style points for anyone who can name the actor, movie, and character.)
Can’t wait to taste the sauces, Chuk. Thanks so much!!!

Is the one named Super Secret Mystery Sauce? That’s pretty interesting. New Year’s Evil looks like it may be evil. I’m sure the Nagais very warm.
Not sure who the pic is but I think it’s from Flash Gordon maybe.

You should try the Naga one first. I think it came out rather well.
