We had another exciting day on the world of MFNM Foods. We competed, sampled and sold salsa at the 3rd annual "Hot Time in Old Town" salsa competition in Albuquerque NM today. We won the top award for the Hot Salsa category for our brand new salsa the Rojo Caliente Red Chile Salsa, and also took honors for the Spicy Cocktail Salsa in the Specialty category! Poor management, low turnouts, and poor profits for vendors have been just a few of the comments. Not sure if the MFNM Foods folks actually attended or whether these awards were gotten <em>in absentia</em>. A good question to ask them, we suppose. I would love to hear about this show if anyone has a report. I represented the Dave's Gourmet Booth there when the show opened and it was a disaster.
