Yeah, Guns N’ Roses has it right. Here I am at the show. It’s around 3:30 and still going strong. Dan came by and asked if we were live blogging and, well, you might as well hit me upside the head with a shovel. What a great idea. So, here I am. Thanks, Dan!

It’s very interesting being at a first show. As first shows go, this is an excellent turnout. There are tons of people here and I think it’s a huge success for the midwest. I really hope this event happens next year as well.

In talking with vendors, here’s the consensus…not a lot of product turnover, but tons of people and visibility. There are some vendors who are doing remarkably well, like CaJohn’s and My Favorite New Mexico Foods (but that’s no surprise). Oh, and before I forget, Mike from Hot Shots said that he doesn’t want to take anything home. So, near the end of tomorrow, what Jungle Jims doesn’t purchase he is marking down at incredible rates. Those of you who retail might want to check that out.

Right now I’m geared up to watch people suffer at Wings & Rings where Defcon is holding their death match. We’ll definitely get some pics of that! I was asked if I wanted to sign up and I said, “Hellllll no!”
