In the most recent “Hot Sauce” edition of Chile Pepper magazine, I was quote as saying that the stuff from Denzel’s Gourmet Foods was some of the best, most underrated hot sauces on the market. Denzel’s sauces are one of those examples of why some of the better hot sauces come from the northern side of the U.S.-Canada border.
That said, we recently received a little care package from Denzel containing some of the sauces in his line that we have yet to review. Stuff like his Peaches & Scream, Gourmet Jalapeno, and Molten Mango all look like they may be just as good as the Kamikaze and Lil’ Smokehouse, which were two of our favorites. That plus a new sauced called Colonel Corn, which is a roasted corn-chipotle sauce, help round out the selection just nicely.
I’ll be sure to post reviews of the new sauces as soon as they are done and ready for general consumption. Until then, do yourself a big favor and try some of Denzel’s sauces for yourself. You won’t regret it!

I adore Denzel, he’s a real sweetheart and offers some of the best products that Canada has to offer.
