Jackson’s Extreme Habanero Beef Jerky …
…Featuring Scotty B’s OBLIVION!

What a fine thing it is to find an unexpected package in the mail…unless it’s ticking. That was what happened the other day when out of the clear blue sky I find a package from Arizona Jack in my mailbox!

I open this sucker up and it’s a generous size package of habanero jerky. But not just any habanero jerky, No no no my good friends. This jerky had the privilege of bathing in Scotty B’s near legendary Oblivion sauce. Goodness!

Now I’m already a fan of Scotty B’s sauces. The man has a way with peppers and vinegar. His Devil’s Drool is excellent, a fine example of Louisiana-style hot sauce

taken to extremes. It is one of the hotter all-natural sauces I have had with a vicious, lingering heat, OBLIVION is said to be even hotter than Devil’s Drool so you can imagine how excited I was to try this jerky! You can see habanero seeds and dried bits of the sauce on the meat. Yum!

Jack uses London Broil to make his jerky and all the pieces are in very consistent thin strips, about 4 inces long and a half inch wide. They are chewy but not too chewy; almost tender for a jerky.

Taste-wise this is, without a doubt, the most delicious beef jerky that’s ever been in my mouth. It’s got a wonderful spicy habanero flavor. The heat? Well. That was a bit of a surprise considering how ominous the build up was. It’s not that hot. It’s spicy, and has a building, lingering burn, especially if you eat more than one piece at a time. My wife could eveneat if comfortably. I guess there’s only so much heat you can infuse into a piece of dried meat.

Thank you very much Jack and Scotty. This jerky rocks like no other. If you get a chance, try this stuff. It’s amazing.
