Welcoming a new writer to the fold is always exciting for us. Here is her intro:

Hello King and Queen Chileheads,

Here is a little FYI for ya’ll. My name is Shannan Enberg and I hail to you from the great state of Texas. Yes, and just to clarify I am one of those that was born and bred here. As my 5 siblings would say- it makes us sound like a herd of cattle. Well, let me tell you it definitely might have been like a herd for my parents, getting all 6 of us from place to place growing up. As a newbie to the chilehead culture – I hope to bring others that are “scared” of hot and spicy to a new view. Taste and heat can open doors that one would never have expected. Be brave and take your tongue on a new journey around the world, all from where you sit right now…. Smiles to all and a hope that you will enjoy all that this adventure has to offer….
