After the overwhelming response to our post, Harvest Day!, where we asked for suggestions on what recipe we could use for our home-grown orange habaneros, we took the one suggestion we got about making a hot sauce and put it to good use. We don’t have all the pics done yet, but we will be introducing our very own homemade hot sauce here in the next day or two called:
Joe & Linda’s Habanero-Serrano “Repentance” Hot Sauce
Yesterday was the beginning of Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement, so what better word could we come up with to describe our sauce than Repentance?
Coming soon will be some pics of the finished product and a list of ingredients…maybe. We made 6 small jars, of which we’ll keep one and gift the rest to a few other folks. Maybe we’ll find someone willing to review OUR sauce. LOL!

Can’t wait to see the review on this one. I made a Hab-mango recipe a couple years ago (I know, it’s been done to death, but it kicks butt I swear) That I fondly call “Mango Menace” dubbed by my younger brother “bathroom brew” cause I made it in the bathroom
Was gonna send you the recipe, but I can’t find it! Should I be able to find it again, I’ll have to make a batch and send ya some. The bathroom essence really adds something extra to it

Hope you are going to add some spices also?
The rest looks like it will be pretty good and I for one would like to try some and be glad to review it for you.
