Here’s a great pic from the booth of Susie’s Hot Sauce from ZestFest. Besides having this tastefully done set of sauces out front to get your attention, Susie had a fine bunch of sauces in her stable worth trying. If you were lucky, she let you try some of her hot sauce-infused spice cake, which is better than you might think.

hs02220.gifLooking at this pic again, it made me go look at my own collection of sauces and see which ones qualified as “pimped out,” and it’s more than I was willing to admit. For those of you who collect, how many of your bottles are like this and which ones are your favorite? For me, it’s my Screaming Rasta sauces all pimped out in their rasta outfits and accessories. Tres cool. (Mine actually comes in a set of three sauces from the same manufacturer in a carrying rack, and has a lot more rasta stuff on it for show.) I’ve actually not tried any of their sauces, perhaps not for many, many, moons, but I have an extra bottle of their mustard sauce, which I may have to open just to see how it is. That, plus it liberates an extra rasta hat I can put on another bottle of sauce. LOL!!

Getting back to Susie’s sauces, we encourage you to give them a try. The labels are a little mundane, but the sauces themselves are quite good. We weren’t able to bring home any of them from Texas this year, so perhaps we’ll try to motivate Susie to send us some from Antigua. ;)
