Well, we are still processing all the pics we took from ZestFest, and we even have a few
“donated” by Chuk Hell and his lovely wife Susie. Shamelessly presented, here are our “best of” pics for now: (long post, many pics!)
The Tres Amigos: Chuk, CaJohn, and MSK.
Chuk is quite the entrepreneurial hot sauce maker. He brought some of his masterful creation, the Ugoun sauce, along to inflict heat, pain, and woe upon those tastebuds who dared to try it. In all seriousness, it’s quite good stuff…but really damn hot. Here’s Joe as he prepares to try .004715 ounces of it.
This is the look of the after-effects of the Ugoun sauce. It actually taste really good, then the heat just begins to assault your mucous membranes from your mouth to stomach. Not just that, but the heat builds for a good 10 minutes after you eat it. Yowza!

FANCY TEQUILA!?!?! Chuck, my flight leaves LAX at 8pm tonight. I should be there in a week…We have a lay over in Europe, then Russia, then Los Angeles, then we hit Austen…but I got a REALLY low price on the flight.
