Joe και η εγκοπή συναντιούνται τελικά!

Ένα από το δροσερό πράγμα για την παρουσία ZestFest ήταν οι άνθρωποι που είχαμε την ευκαιρία να συναντηθούμε προσωπικά. Μπορεί να είχε υπάρξει η αντίληψη που εμείς και HSB, που υποβάλλουν έκθεση σχετικά με τα παρόμοια πράγματα στον καυτό και πικάντικο κόσμο τροφίμων, μην παρουσιάστε πρόοδο. Τίποτα δεν θα μπορούσε να είναι περαιτέρω από την αλήθεια! Αγαπάμε τι (και να το διαβάσει καθημερινά), έτσι ελπίζουμε ότι τα θερμά & συγκεχυμένα συναισθήματα είναι αμοιβαία. Εάν όχι θερμός & συγκεχυμένος, έπειτα τίποτα ομοειδές είναι λεπτό με μας. Ήταν δροσερό για να συναντήσει την εγκοπή για πρώτη φορά εκεί στο Τέξας, και να ελπίσει να κουβεντιάσει με τον λίγο περισσότερο στα μελλοντικά γεγονότα βιομηχανίας.

Joe που επιδεικνύει τη νέα επιχειρησιακή κάρτα και το Ryan μας με τη σάλτσα διαθέσιμη

Ένα άλλο πρόσωπο που πήραμε τελικά να συναντηθούμε προσωπικά ήταν Ryan Νταίηβις. Το Ryan δημιούργησε το λογότυπο για τις αλαζονικές νέες επιχειρησιακές κάρτες μας που σε ZestFest, έτσι η βοήθειά του ήταν ανεκτίμητη στην παραγωγή που συμβαίνει. Εκτός από αυτόν, η σύζυγός του Σόνια (aka Sanyo) επίσης κάνει κάποια καυτή σάλτσα τακτοποιημένος-κοιτάγματος… έτσι πήραμε μερικά μπουκάλια για το μας πολύ δικοί. Υπογεγραμμένες εκδόσεις, επίσης. Δύναμη πρέπει ακριβώς να ανοίξουμε ενός από εκείνους τους υπογεγραμμένους αυτούς για να τον δοκιμάσουμε, εν τούτοις. Αρκετά παράξενα, ξέρουμε όπου μπορούμε να πάρουμε λίγο περισσότερο….

Damnit, Jon. It’s supposed to be a secret hat…not a known hat. It’s all about the head gear, man. LMAO

UGH…sorry to be all weird…it’s been a long week. Is it vacation time yet? Seriously. I bet very few people knew that Joe and I were dealing with stomach issues/flu/poison/hell at ZestFest. And, while that was going on, our new puppy and our babysitter were attacked by a hive of bees on Friday. We found out when she called us during the banquet to tell us she was rushing the pup to the emergency vet. That very day, Ari had gotten sick. By Saturday night he was better, but then Joshie was getting sick. When Joshie gets sick it goes right to his lungs. So, on our way to the airport at 5:30am on Sunday, we get a call from the sitter again saying that Joshie was barely breathing. All is starting to settle down now, but, shit, it was a wild ride.

Now that I hijacked our own post, I’d have to say that it would be really hard to hate anyone at the HSB. Again, the people were the best part of the weekend and HSBers were no exception.

I just stopped by and saw the pics and such. Thanks for putting those up! Beeen trying to collect as many as I can for my personal memories…seeing that most of ZF is still fuzzy. I propose that the show from here on out be called “Beer Fest”, cause frankly, I consumed far more beer than anything else there! It was an honor and a privilege to finally meet you guys there. Thanks for adding the link to my site! In the process of updating it, so for those of you that visit, sorry if anything looks funky. Joe, Linda, Chuck, you guys all rock!
