This will likely be one of our last big posts about our trip to Hollywood for the hot sauce movie. Our trip was such a blur that we weren’t able to take as many pics as we would have liked, but here are a few that we have:

Having never been to L.A. before, we thought it was best NOT to try and drive ourselves around while we were there. Having a car service do it was nice, and you can see Linda grinning as we hopped into our first California ride there at LAX.

Speaking of getting driven around, we went out Thursday night in style. Here’s a front-end view of Jon’s “Pimpmobile.” Sure it was a bear to turn around in a parking lot and seating was a little tight…but damn did we look good!! Nothing quite like stylin’ around Hollywood in a good-looking car.

Our locale for dinner on Thursday night, the day before we went for filming. El Coyote is a Hollywood landmark, and serves some GREAT Mexican food. Their tequila selection ain’t bad either. I think the restaurant patrons and staff may have thought it was slightly weird when we toted in 8 bottles of hot sauce for our dinner, but that’s pretty much our normal thing to do. Try the ostrich tacos…they’re da bomb.

On Friday night after filming, we headed over to the Universal Studios CityWalk for dinner and other fun stuff. While excited to be there, we were fairly drained after a long day. After dinner, we went to see “Superman Returns” in 3-D on the IMAX big screen. If you’ve never seen a movie in 3-D on the IMAX, you really should. It was awesome!!

Yep, that’s one big ol’ monkey…hanging on the side of one of the buildings at the CityWalk. Just one of those things we said, “How cool!” and was driven to take a picture of it. It’s probably a good thing that we ran out of time that night before we spent more money than we already did. A truly fun time had by all.

Bottom line: Hollywood totally rocked. We hope to go back again someday when we’ll have more time to spend.
