That's pretty funny. "Grindable" hot sauce. That's rich.

Jim...I've not doubt the product is good. I certainly can't say it's bad because I've not tried it. I just don't agree with calling it hot sauce. To me it's like calling used cars "Pre-Owned" Vehicles. No matter which way one looks at it, it's still used cars.

Does this mean I have to sleep in the truck when I visit you...LOL

This is also NOT true- although she is a small company, Beth Boyd from Bayou Traders has been marketing this grinder top sprinkle for awhile now. Without a doubt, it is the best spice additive I've ever tried, and mind you, I've tried a few ;-) I've been encouraging here for some time now to take it commercial as it is a heck of an idea- as evidenced that one of the 'big boys' has hit upon it.

Again...Nothing against Nandos, but I find this this reclassification of hot sauce an alarming trend. Like CaJohn, I would be hard pressed to accept this type of marketing. By all means, a company needs to employ unique ideas to compete, BUT...if it's Grindable it's a dry spice. If it's Hot Sauce, it's wet and should not be dummied down.

I have a problem with this, I suppose I could come out with liquid salt & pepper. I could do it by adding black pepper extract to soy sauce or a very salty LA style hot sauce. But then it's a sauce, not a spice it's just someones brilliant (not) marketing idea that misses the boat. If it's not good enough to compete in the arena of what it is, don't try at all. Nothing against the rest of the company, they have some great sauces. This however is a spice blend. I suppose the could have called it Un-Sauce! LOL

It looks like dehydrated versions of their stable of sauces. Probably a step up from Mrs. Dash seasonig mix, but by how much is the question....

Nothing against Nandos but I don't get it. Is/was this a wet hot sauce that's been dehydrated or simply a mixture of dry spices that "could be" hot sauce? :?
